Budget Blackboard

A blackboard reflected the status of budget deliberations in the legislature at 12:45 p.m., February 15, 1935. Anticipated revenue (lower right corner) included income from a two percent sales tax. “Increases made in budget by amendments” included a school increase of $928,561.84 the first year of the budget.
