In response to a question by Representative Bruce, Mr. Jennings stated that 806 KAR 17:310 and 360 were amended to implement the prompt payment statutes for dentists, enacted in the 2005 Session of the General Assembly.

902 KAR 45:020 & E. Shellfish. Charles Kendell, Commissioner's Office, and Mark Reed, Supervisor, represented the department.
In response to a question by Co-Chair Roeding, Mr. Reed stated that the industry had requested the amendments to this administrative regulation. They aligned Kentucky's shellfish sanitary standards with the federal standards so Kentucky dealers could participate in interstate commerce.
A motion was made and seconded to approve the following amendments: (1) to amend Section 9 to include sixty-four (64) ounce packages in the packaging requirements; (2) to amend Section 10 to establish recording requirements for computerized transaction records; (3) to amend Sections 12 to 14 to refer to rather than repeat the sanitary standards established in Section 11; (4) to amend Section 16 to include hearings under KRS Chapter 13B; and (5) to amend the RELATES TO, STATUTORY AUTHORITY, and NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY paragraphs and Sections 1 to 4 and 6 to 17 to comply with the drafting and format requirements of KRS Chapter 13A. Without objection, and with agreement of the agency, the amendments were approved.
