The<MeetNo2> 6th meeting of the Government Contract Review Committee was held on<Day> Tuesday,<MeetMDY2> December 12, 2000, at<MeetTime> 10:00 AM, in<Room> Room 125 of the Capitol Annex. Representative Brent Yonts, Chair, called the meeting to order, and the secretary called the roll.

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Representative Heleringer to approve the Committee Minutes of November 14, 2000 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Routine Contracts List. The motion passed with Representative Heleringer ABSTAINING on contract #5, Woodward, Hobson, & Fulton, #01-29.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Amendments List. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the MARS Personal Service Contracts List with the exception of #6, between Council on Post Secondary Education and William G. Brundage, M-00324318; #7, between Department of Education and Wilkerson and Associates, C-00303015; #11, between Education and Professional Standards Board and Steve Clements, M-00290772; and #13, between Finance and Administration Cabinet and William G. A motion was made by Representative Heleringer and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the contract with the stipulation that the committee receive a copy of the final bill from the vendor. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and Seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the CORRECTION LIST. The motion passed unanimously.

 

Mr. Glen Bradt, Ms. Judy Tabor, and Mr. Johnnie Grissom, Department of Education, discussed the Master Agreement, M-00276886, between Department of Education and University of Kentucky Research Foundation, Center for Prevention Research, with the committee.
