A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Minutes of the September 11, 2001, meeting of the committee with a correction in the spelling of Ken Schwendeman. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to write Governor Paul Patton to request that his administration conduct a complete review of all personal service contracts of all government agencies. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Representative Heleringer and seconded by Senator Long to adopt a resolution from the Government Contract Review Committee urging the Governor, for this fiscal year, to reduce unnecessary and non-essential spending and to retain current spending levels for mental health and mental retardation services. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Routine Contracts List with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Routine Amendments List with the exception of those amendments selected for review by members of the committee. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the MARS Personal Service Contracts List, including contract #37, C-01264100, between the Department of Mental Health / Mental Retardation and Neurobehavioral Resources, Ltd., with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee.
