The<MeetNo2> Government Contract Review Committee met on<Day> Tuesday,<MeetMDY2> January 8, 2002, at<MeetTime> 9:00 AM, in<Room> Room 125 of the Capitol Annex. Representative Brent Yonts, Chair, called the meeting to order, and the secretary called the roll.

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Minutes of the December 11, 2001, meeting of the committee. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Routine Contracts List with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee and with the exception of #4 between the University of Louisville and Omni Architects. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to defer #4 from the Routine Contracts List, between the University of Louisville and Omni Architects, #02-75, until the February 2002 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Routine Amendment List with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the MARS Personal Service Contracts List with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the MARS Personal Service Amendment List with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the MARS Memoranda of Agreement List with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee. The motion passed unanimously.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the MARS Memoranda of Agreement Amendment List with the exception of those contracts selected for review by members of the committee. The motion passed with Senator Stine voting NO on #27, an agreement amendment between the Public Health Department and Barren River Health Department.

 

A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to approve the Addition, Correction, and Deferred List. The motion passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Senator Jackson and seconded by Representative Crenshaw to approve a memorandum of agreement evidencing the project. The motion passed with Senator Stine electing to PASS.

 

            The committee discussed adoption of an amendment to Policy Statement 99-1 relating to Legal Services: Duties and Maximum Rate Schedule. A motion was made by Senator Long and seconded by Senator Jackson to adopt the amendment. The motion passed unanimously.
