Lexington-Fayette County Health Department, M-03258500. Gary Freeland and Robin Kinney discussed the contract with the committee. The contract was considered as reviewed, with Senator Westwood objecting.
The committee discussed the issue of forwarding federal contracting information to Kentucky businesses and state government agencies, in order to increase apparently disproportionate numbers of contracting opportunities in the Commonwealth. The committee agreed that an informal subcommittee would be formed consisting of Senators Tori and Scorsone and Representative Yonts, and directed staff to begin investigating the issue.
