The6th meeting of the Government Contract Review Committee was held on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at 10:00 AM, in Room 125 of the Capitol Annex. Representative Brent Yonts, Chair, called the meeting to order, and the secretary called the roll.

Methodist Home of Kentucky Incorporated, M-04617508. Ken Schwendeman and Bridgett Scaggs Brown discussed the contract with the committee. A motion was made by Senator Tapp to approve the contract. Senator Tori and Representative Crenshaw seconded the motion, which passed with Senator Scorsone, Representatives Stein and Yonts voting NO.
The committee discussed a maximum rate modification from $50 per hour to $75 per hour for the Board of Medical Licensure consultant contracts. Senator Scorsone made a motion to approve the maximum rate change. Representative Crenshaw seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
The committee discussed renewal of exemptions previously granted to the Office of Homeland Security and the Education Cabinet. Senator Scorsone made a motion to approve the exemption requests for another year. Representative Crenshaw seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
