The<MeetNo2> Government Contract Review Committee met on<Day> Tuesday,<MeetMDY2> February 13, 2007, at<MeetTime> 8:30 AM, in<Room> Room 125 of the Capitol Annex. Representative Dennis Keene, Chair, called the meeting to order, and the secretary called the roll.

 

Present were:

Representative Keene opened the floor for nominations from a Senate member for the position of co-chair.

 

Senator Gibson made a motion to nominate Senator McGaha as co-chair. Senator Scorsone seconded the motion.

 

Senator Scorsone made a motion that nominations for co-chair cease and that Senator McGaha be elected by acclamation. Senator Gibson seconded the motion. Senator McGaha was elected by acclamation and presided for the remainder of the meeting.

 

A motion was made by Senator Tori to approve Minutes of the January 24, 2007 meeting of the committee. Senator Gibson seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Additions List. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Corrections List. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Personal Service Contract List, with exception of those items selected for further review by members of the committee. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Personal Service Contract Amendment List, with exception of those items selected for further review by members of the committee. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Memoranda of Agreement List, with exception of those items selected for further review by members of the committee. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

The Cabinet for Health and Family Services requested an extension to their current exemption for all health department memoranda of agreements and modifications.  This exemption would expire December 31, 2007.  A motion was made by Representative Yonts to approve the exemption.  Senator Gibson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
