The<MeetNo2> 8th meeting of the Government Contract Review Committee was held on<Day> Wednesday,<MeetMDY2> February 13, 2008, at<MeetTime> 4:00 PM, in<Room> Room 171 of the Capitol Annex. Representative Dennis Keene, Chair, called the meeting to order, and the secretary called the roll.

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to approve Minutes of the January 10, 2008 meeting of the committee. Senator Scorsone seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Additions List. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Corrections List. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Personal Service Contract List, with exception of those items selected for further review by members of the committee. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Personal Service Contract Amendment List, with exception of those items selected for further review by members of the committee. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

 

A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider as reviewed, the Memoranda of Agreement List, with exception of those items selected for further review by members of the committee. Senator Tori seconded the motion, which passed without objection.

Edvantia, 0800006728.  Robin Kinney and Ken Draut discussed the contract with the committee.  A motion was made by Representative Yonts to consider the contract as reviewed.  Senator Scorsone seconded the motion, which passed with Representative Montell electing to abstain (pass).

 

THE FOLLOWING PERSONAL SERVICE AMENDMENT CONTRACT

WAS SELECTED FOR FURTHER REVIEW:

 

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PUBLIC PROTECTION CABINET:

Nesbitt Engineering Incorporated, C-06007303.  A motion was made by Senator Scorsone to consider the amendment as reviewed.  Representative Yonts seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

 

CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES:

The committee discussed an exemption request from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services for all local health department Memoranda of Agreement and amendments.  A motion was made by Representative Yonts to grant the exemption until December 31, 2008.  Representative Montell seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

 

OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY:

The committee discussed an exemption request from the Office of Homeland Security for all Commercial Mobile Radio Service Board Master Agreements.  A motion was made by Representative Yonts to grant the exemption until December 31, 2008.  Representative Montell seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PUBLIC PROTECTION CABINET:

The committee discussed an exemption request from the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet for the Division of Water's second phase of a Joint Funding Agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey. A motion was made by Representative Yonts to grant the exemption until December 31, 2008.  Representative Montell seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

 

With no further business before the committee, the meeting adjourned at 4:25 p.m.
