The March 21, 2005 meeting of the Program Review and Investigations Committee was held at 4:30 PM, in Room 327 of the Capitol. Senator Katie Stine, Co-chair and Rep. Charlie Hoffman, Co-chair, called the meeting to order, and the secretary called the roll.
Present were:
Members: Senator Katie Stine, Co-Chair; Representative Charlie Hoffman, Co-Chair; Senators Charlie Borders, Ernie Harris, Vernie McGaha, R. J. Palmer II, Joey Pendleton, and Dan Seum; Representatives Adrian K. Arnold, Sheldon E. Baugh, Dwight D. Butler, Ruth Ann Palumbo, and Tommy Thompson.
LRC Staff: Greg Hager, Committee Staff Administrator; Kara Daniel; and Susan Spoonamore, Committee Assistant.
Upon motion made by Rep. Hoffman, and seconded by Rep. Palumbo, Rep. Tommy Thompson was nominated for the position of House co-chair.
Upon motion made by Rep. Hoffman, and seconded by Rep. Palumbo that nominations cease, Rep. Tommy Thompson was elected House co-chair by acclamation; without objection.
Upon motion made by Sen. Pendleton and seconded by Sen. Borders, Sen. Ernie Harris was nominated for the position of Senate co-chair.
Upon motion made by Sen. Pendleton and seconded by Sen. Borders that nominations cease, Sen. Ernie Harris was elected Senate co-chair by acclamation; without objection.
