AN ACT relating to residential care facilities.
     Amend KRS 100.982, relating to residential care facilities, to specify that the definition for a "person with a disability" does not include any person who has been convicted as a violent offender or has been convicted of a sex crime as a felony, or a person who is guilty of indecent exposure; amend KRS 100.984 to require the sponsoring agency or facility owner of a residential care facility as defined in KRS 100.982 to notify property owners at least 60 days prior to the establishment of the facility in the neighborhood; require a public hearing to be held by the agency or potential operator, if requested by an affected homeowner, to provide detailed information on the type of facility and its residents; create new section of KRS 100.982 to 100.984 to specify that supervisors or directors shall be twenty-one years of age or older, submit to a criminal record check, and not have been convicted of a felony.
