AN ACT relating to police radios.
Amend KRS 432.570, relating to possession of police radios, to permit possession by paid or volunteer fire or public emergency medical services personnel with the written permission of the chief of the fire department or the ambulance service director.
HB 141 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain the original provisions, and require members of fire departments and ambulance services to have written permission of law enforcement agencies whose frequencies are being monitored in order to authorize possession of radios capable of receiving those frequencies.
