AN ACT relating to foster children and adopted children.
     Create new sections of KRS 164 to require a waiver of tuition and student fees from postsecondary institutions for foster and adopted children; require child to meet entrance requirements, apply within four (4) years of high school graduation, and maintain academic eligibility while enrolled at the postsecondary institution; permit a period of five (5) years for the waiver; authorize the Council on Postsecondary Education to define satisfactory progress for continuation of waiver; permit a postsecondary institution to accept scholarships; require promulgation of administrative regulations by the Council on Postsecondary Education and the Cabinet for Families and Children.
