HB 156 (BR 336) - R. Damron

     AN ACT relating to concealed deadly weapons.
     Amend KRS 237.110 relating to concealed deadly weapon licenses to specify that all retired police, rather than some retired police, meet the training requirement; specify that a person denied a concealed deadly weapons permit has 90 days to appeal the denial.

HB 156 - AMENDMENTS


     HFA (1, K. Stein) - Eliminate the provision that allows pastors and church officers with a concealed weapons permit to carry a concealed deadly weapon in a church.
     HFA (2, K. Stein) - Amend the provision allowing a minister or church officer to carry a concealed deadly weapon in church to require permission in writing from the governing body or governing person of which the church, synagogue, or house of worship is a member.
     SCA (1, R. Stivers) - Add being under indictment as a disqualifying condition for applying for a concealed deadly weapon license; delete provision permitting pastors and church officers to carry concealed deadly weapons in church.
     SFA (2, W. Blevins) - Extend a license to carry a concealed firearm to expire in five years rather than three years.
