     AN ACT relating to the area development districts' boards of directors.
     Amend KRS 147A.060 relating to area development district's boards of directors to clarify that board members are not public officers by reason of their membership on the board.

HB 16 - AMENDMENTS


     SCS - Delete the provision stating that board members are not public officers by reason of their membership on the board; amend KRS 147A.060 to permit a state officer, a deputy state officer, or a member of the General Assembly to serve only in a nonmember advisory capacity to the board of directors of an area development district.
     CCR - Agree to disagree and request Free Conference Committee to be appointed.
     FCCR (Majority Report) - Retain provisions of the Senate Committee Substitute and require the area development district board of directors to notify legislators of the provisions of the act and require the area development district to send meeting notices to the legislator if he or she chooses to participate.
