AN ACT relating to students.
     Amend KRS 159.010, relating to age limits for compulsory school attendance, to define "GED"; raise the age for compulsory school attendance from 16 to 18 years of age; require disruptive students to be placed in alternative education programs; require a person under the age of 18 who is withdrawing from school to be interviewed by the pupil personnel director to try and establish intervention strategies that will keep the student in school; EFFECTIVE July 1, 2000.
