HB 248/AA (BR 1098) - B. Heleringer, R. Crimm

     AN ACT relating to hazardous duty retirement and declaring an emergency.
     Amend KRS 61.592 to provide death-in-the-line-of-duty benefits to Alcoholic Beverage Control officers killed after April 1, 1998, and prior to agency participation in the hazardous duty retirement program.

HB 248 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS/AA - Delete the original provisions and provide that the effective date of participation in hazardous duty retirement for all Alcohol Beverage Control officers shall be April 1, 1998, and the employer and employee contributions for the additional time of the coverage shall be paid by the employer.
