AN ACT relating to hate crimes.
     Amend KRS 532.031 to enhance the criminal penalties for hate crimes based on the age of the victim; amend KRS 525.113 to create the crime of institutional vandalism when a person desecrates a venerated object because of the age of the victim; amend KRS 17.523 to require that the uniform offense report contain a provision for obtaining information as to whether a crime is reasonably related to the age of the victim; amend KRS 15.331 to provide for peace officer training with regard to hate crimes based on the age of the victim.
