     AN ACT relating to advanced registered nurse practice.
     Amend KRS 314.011 to permit advanced registered nurse practitioners to dispense nonscheduled legend drugs; amend KRS 314.042 to require an advanced registered nurse practitioner to enter into a written collaborative practice agreement with a physician prior to dispensing nonscheduled legend drugs; amend KRS 315.040 to prohibit anything in the chapter from interfering with the activities of an advanced registered nurse practitioner as authorized in KRS Chapter 314.

HB 274 - AMENDMENTS


     SCA (1, R. Roeding) - Amend 314.011 to limit dispensing of medications by advanced registered nurses to free samples.
     SFA (2, J. Westwood) - Retain original provisions and create a new section of KRS Chapter 315 to prohibit a pharmacist who objects to dispensing medication that may terminate a pregnancy from liability; prohibit discrimination against a pharmacist who objects to dispensing medication that may terminate a pregnancy.
     SFA (3/Title, J. Westwood) - Make title amendment.
