HB 275 (BR 983) - J. Adams, C. Geveden

     AN ACT relating to interlocal agreements.
     Amend KRS 65.260 to require that interlocal agreements between cities, counties, charter counties, and urban-county governments be submitted to the Department for Local Government instead of the Attorney General.

     SFA (1, C. Borders) - Add new sections to amend KRS 65.220, 65.230, and 65.245 to permit sheriffs to enter into interlocal agreements.
     SFA (2/Title, C. Borders) - Make title amendment.
     CCR - Agree to disagree, request Free Conference Committee to be appointed.
     FCCR (Majority Report) - Retain the Senate title amendment; and permit the sheriff upon approval of the fiscal court to enter into interlocal agreements with local governments.
