AN ACT relating to elections.
Amend KRS 117.045 to increase minimum pay of precinct election officers from $60 per day to $100 per day; amend KRS 117.187 to increase pay for precinct election officer training from $10 to $25; amend KRS 117.345 to increase reimbursement to fiscal court for cost of election from $255 per precinct to $700 per precinct; appropriate from the general fund $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2000-2001 and $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2001-2002.
HB 288 - AMENDMENTS
HCA (1, A. Arnold) - Amend to provide that the funds for state share of election expenses shall not lapse, notwithstanding KRS 45.229.
HFA (1, A. Arnold) - Remove pay and training increases for election officers; make the reimbursement for fiscal courts for election costs $300 per precinct; remove appropriation.
