HB 310 (BR 964) - E. Jordan
AN ACT relating to medical licensure.
Amend KRS 311.571 to require that the postgraduate residency requirements for medical licensure be the same for graduates of medical schools located within or outside of the United States or Canada.
HB 310 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Provide that Board of Medical Licensure, after consultation with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, University of Louisville School of Medicine, and the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine, shall establish the duration of the postgraduate training for both domestic and foreign-trained students, instead of allowing for 1 year of postgraduate training.
