AN ACT relating to motor vehicle insurance.
Create a new section of Subtitle 20 of KRS Chapter 304 to provide that if two or more motor vehicles owned by the same insured are involved in the same accident, the limits of liability under each insurance policy on the vehicles shall apply and the total limits of liability under all such policies for the same accident shall equal the total of limits of liability of each such policy added together.
HB 343 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Delete original provisions and provide that if two or more vehicles owned by the same insured are involved in the same accident and each is covered by a liability policy issued to the insured by the same insurer, the limits of liability coverage under each policy must apply in accordance with liability allocated to the operator of each vehicle; provide that this Act does not provide for stacking or aggregating liability coverages of vehicles not involved in the accident.
