AN ACT relating to plumbing.
Amend KRS 318.010 to define "maintenance person" as a full-time employee of property owner or lessor not in the plumbing business; add definition of "routine maintenance" as periodic servicing of plumbing and exclude the installation of complete new plumbing systems; amend KRS 318.020 to exempt maintenance persons from licensure requirements.

HFA (1, J. Gray) - Retain original provisions except change the definition of "maintenance person" by deleting the requirement that the maintenance person be employed full-time and require that the employee performs routine maintenance for a single employer.
HFA (2, J. Gray) - Retain original provisions except change the definition of "maintenance person" by deleting the requirement that the maintenance person be employed full-time; require that the employee performs routine maintenance for a single employer; and provide that the chapter does not apply to persons who do not solicit or accept compensation for routine maintenance.
