AN ACT relating to wrongful death actions.
Amend KRS 411.130 to allow for prosecution of wrongful death action for an unborn child from fertilization onward, without regard to age, health, or condition of dependency; amend KRS 411.135 to conform; create new section of KRS Chapter 411 to exempt physicians and pregnant women from prosecution under certain circumstances.

HCS - Amend to broaden the scope of persons or acts to which the bill does not apply.
HFA (1, C. Geveden) - Replace provisions of bill with a new section to allow a pregnant woman to recover, in a personal injury action, for a miscarriage or stillbirth caused by a tortfeasor.
