HB 406 (BR 1645) - B. Heleringer, E. Jordan
AN ACT relating to veterans' nursing homes.
Amend KRS 36.355 to require that the first of any additional veterans' nursing homes built in Kentucky be located in Jefferson County; amend KRS 216B.021 to specify that the nursing homes authorized for construction are for veterans.
HB 406 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain provisions of House Bill 406 except that Hardin County is required to be the first location of any additional Veterans' nursing homes and Jefferson County the second; provide that if HB 139 becomes law, the provisions of the act shall be codified into KRS Chapter 40.
HFA (1, H. Collins) - Amend Section 1 of House Committee Substitute to expand possible locations for second veterans' nursing home.
HFA (2, D. Ford) - Require that the third new veterans' nursing home be located in Climax, Kentucky.
