AN ACT relating to tourism development and declaring an emergency.
Amend KRS 154.29-010 to change the definition of "tourism attraction" to allow for a lodging facility that may represent more than 50% of the approved cost if the facility incorporates an historic structure of at least 100,000 square feet and meets the requirements of the Department of Interior Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties or if the facility is listed in the National Register of Historic Places or is located in a National Register Historic District and is certified and approved by the Kentucky Heritage Council.
