HB 49 (BR 38) - J. Coleman, P. Clark, M. Weaver

     AN ACT related to the use of automated external defibrillators.
     Create various new sections of KRS Chapter 211 to provide legislative intent with regard to the use of an automated external defibrillator; define terms including "automated external defibrillator" and "cardiopulmonary resuscitation"; direct persons or entities acquiring an automated external defibrillator to ensure that AED users receive specified training and that the equipment be maintained; provide immunity from civil liability for persons or entity rendering emergency care by use of an AED; exemptions.
