AN ACT relating to eligibility requirements for state programs.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 18A to prohibit a state agency from employing or promoting an individual who is required to register with the military selective service system but has not done so; amend KRS 18A.005 to define "agency" and "federal selective service law"; create a new section of KRS Chapter 151B to prohibit admission to a state vocational or technical education institution or a grant of financial aid to persons who have not registered with the military selective service system if required to do so; amend KRS 164.785 to prohibit state financial aid to private college students who have failed to register with the military selective service system if required to do so; amend KRS 164.020 to require registration with the military selective service system as a condition of eligibility for enrollment at a state college, if the applicant is required to do so.
