AN ACT relating to school-based decision making councils.
     Amend KRS 160.345 to include a community representative as a member of the school-based decision making council and make the principal or administrator a nonvoting member except in the event of a tie vote; direct that the community member be elected by the teachers and the parents of the school at the same time the parents are elected from a ballot that includes nominees of the teachers and parents; require the superintendent to provide the council with no less than 3 principal candidates for a principal position vacancy; require the superintendent to honor all requests for additional candidates.
