AN ACT relating to consumer protection.
Amend KRS 367.46951 to change the definition of telephone solicitation to conform with newly created sections of KRS Chapter 367; add definitions for telephone facsimile machine and unsolicited advertisement; create a new section of KRS Chapter 367 to prohibit the sending of a facsimile without marking each page with a date and time and a telephone number of the sending machine or the business sending the solicitation; prohibit the sending of any unsolicited advertisement to a facsimile machine.
HB 720 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Amend KRS 367.46999 to make violation a Class B misdemeanor for the first offense and a Class A misdemeanor for any subsequent offense.
