HB 740/LM (BR 61) - E. Ballard, J. Stewart
AN ACT relating to local elections.
Amend KRS 83A.047 relating to local elections to require that in a city whose boundaries extend beyond those of a single county all nomination papers are to be filed with the county clerk in the county in which the candidate resides instead of with the Secretary of State; require the county clerks to inform each other of city candidates files with them; amend various other statutes to conform.
