HB 777 (BR 2528) - D. Ford

     AN ACT relating to candidates for office.
     Amend KRS 118.125 to require that a candidate states, in his or her notification and declaration, that the candidate meets the statutory and constitutional qualifications for the office sought.

HB 777 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS - Retain original provisions and require that judicial candidates, and candidates who file by petition sign an oath that they meet statutory and constitutional qualifications for the office sought; other than candidates who file by petition, require that the signatures of the candidate and the two voters who sign the filing papers be notarized.
