HB 800 (BR 2361) - G. Stumbo
AN ACT relating to legislative agents.
Amend KRS 6.811 to prohibit a legislative agent, for any one (1) calendar year, from earning more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) plus actual expenses for lobbying members of the General Assembly.
HB 800 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, C. Siler) - Make a legislative agent whose compensation is limited to $1,000 eligible for low income heating assistance.
HFA (2, C. Siler) - Exclude legislative agents from those employees covered under state minimum wage statutes.
HFA (3, C. Siler) - Exclude the $1,000 maximum compensation of legislative agents from consideration in determining maintenance for a spouse in a divorce action; exclude the $1,000 compensation from "gross income" in calculating child support payments.
