AN ACT relating to insurance.
     Create a new section of Subtitle 13 of KRS Chapter 304 to provide that homeowners and fire insurance rates shall provide for a reduction in premium charges for liability coverage under homeowners and fire insurance policies if the insurer provides written notification that any firearm owned by the insured and stored in the covered dwelling on the residence premises is stored securely in a locked box or safe or is secured with a trigger lock approved by the insurer; provide that this section applies to all homeowners and fire insurance rates filed on and after the effective date of this section.
