AN ACT relating to scholarships.
     Amend KRS 164.753 to allow students enrolled in a program of study leading to a certificate, diploma, or degree in theology, divinity, or religious education to receive state scholarships and grants administered by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority if they are otherwise eligible; amend KRS 164.769, the teacher scholarship program, to include theology, divinity, or religious education as eligible programs of study; amend KRS 164.785 to allow students who are enrolled in a program of study leading to a degree in theology, divinity, or religious education to participate in the Kentucky tuition grant program; and amend KRS 164A.240 to allow students in a program of study leading to a degree in theology, divinity, or religious education to receive student loans through the Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation.
