HB 919/CI (BR 1994) - R. Wilkey, G. Lindsay

     AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 150 relating to fish and wildlife, KRS Chapter 177 relating to limited access highways, KRS Chapter 189 relating to traffic control, KRS Chapter 235 relating to boats and boating, and KRS Chapter 281 relating to commercial vehicle regulation and the penalty section of each chapter to establish which offenses are ones in which the fine may be prepaid prior to trial; amend KRS 24A.175 relating to District Court costs, KRS 449.093 relating to forestry offenses, and KRS 431.452 relating to prepayable offenses to conform; repeal KRS 431.451, the current list of prepayable offenses.

HB 919 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS/CI - Retain original provisions of HCS1 and amend various sections to reduce fiscal impact, clarify application of conservation easements, and increase notice provisions for pending federal abandonment proceedings.
     SFA (1, D. Seum) - Amend to remove penalty for violation of KRS 189.285.
