HB 999/LM (BR 2389) - R. Thomas
AN ACT relating to insurance for peace officers.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 70 to allow a sheriff or deputy sheriff to execute warrants in any county and to transport the accused to the county in which the offense was alleged to have been committed, and require the county in which the offense was alleged to have been committed to be responsible for transportation costs and lodging costs of the accused when it is necessary to lodge the accused before depositing the accused in the county in which the offense was alleged to have been committed.
