Create a Task Force on School Finance to analyze the Support Education Excellence in Kentucky (SEEK) formula and other school finance issues to determine if there is an equitable and adequate system of education in all 176 public school districts; 6 members shall be appointed by the President of the Senate, 6 members shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House, and 6 members, including 3 practicing educators, shall be appointed by the Governor; the task force shall report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the Legislative Research Commission no later than September 1, 2001.
HCR 127 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Direct the Interim Joint Committee on Education to conduct a study on the Support Education Excellence in Kentucky funding program and other school finance issues during the 2000-2002 biennium and report findings to the Legislative Research Commission no later than September 1, 2001.
