Make an appropriation of $156,000 for fiscal year 1999-2000, and an appropriation of $156,000 for fiscal years 2000-2001 from the General Fund Surplus Account in honor of the Kentuckians who served during World War II; forward appropriated funds to the World War II Memorial Fund which was established to finance the construction of a World War II Memorial in Washington D.C.
HJR 5 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Removes the appropriation from this act and expresses desire to include a $312,000 appropriation in the Executive Branch Budget Bill for fiscal year 2000 - 2001 for the construction of the World War II Memorial being built in Washington D.C.
HFA (1/Title, C. Hoffman) - Amends title to remove reference to making an appropriation, which was deleted in the committee substitute for HJR5.
