Establish a Civil War Battlefield Task Force for the 2000 -2001 interim, to determine the preservation, maintenance and promotional needs of all Civil War battlefield sites in the Commonwealth, and make recommendations to the General Assembly by Oct. 2001; set membership at 18: 8 legislative members, 4 historians with experience or interest in Civil War history, four 4 public officials from areas containing Civil War battlefield sites, and two 2 interested citizens; attach the Task Force to the Tourism Development Cabinet for administration and provide for expenses.
