AN ACT relating to accessible parking placards.
     Amend KRS 189.456, relating to permanent accessible parking placards, to eliminate all fees associated with printing or issuing the placards; amend KRS 189.458, relating to temporary accessible parking placards, to require that the name of the person issued a placard to appear on it and to require a doctor's statement regarding a person's disability to renew a placard; create a new section of KRS 189.456 to 189.459 to require that the person to whom an accessible parking placard is issued must be in the process of being transported for a placard to be used or displayed; provide for improper use of a placard to be subject to the penalties of KRS 189.990(1).
