SB 100/FN (BR 1328) - J. Rose

     AN ACT relating to adult day health care programs.
     Create a new section of Chapter 205 to define "adult day health care program"; require promulgation of administrative regulations to establish requirements for licensure; prohibit the operation of an adult day health care program without a license; establish appeal procedures for actions by the cabinet to deny, revoke, suspend, or modify a license; and require Medicaid prospective reimbursement at a rate of thirty percent (30%) and sixty percent (60%) of the average nursing facility rate for a one-half (1/2) day of service and a full day of service, respectively.

     SCS - Delete provisions of original bill; require Cabinet for Health Services to promulgate administrative regulations to address the scope of services for licensed adult day health care programs and the manner in which case management for adult day health care patients is administered.
