SB 102/LM (BR 1581) - V. McGaha

     AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 64 to provide for escrow and disposition of the salary of an elected public officer who is convicted of a felony or misdemeanor and thus cannot serve in office due to imprisonment or operation of law.

SB 102 - AMENDMENTS


     SCS/LM - Require the escrow of public official's salary if convicted of a felony, misdemeanor relating to the duties of his office, or a misdemeanor resulting in incarceration of 12 days or more.
     HFA (1, R. Adams) - Amend to increase penalty for holders of security interests on automobiles who do not notify the county clerk of discharge within the time period specified by KRS 186.045.
