AN ACT relating to parks.
Amend KRS 148.029 to allow the Department of Parks to authorize Fish and Wildlife to administer a wildlife management plan on property operated by the Department of Parks.
SB 105 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, M. Marzian) - Retains original provisions and adds 4 new subsections; require that any proposed wildlife plan be submitted for public notice 90 days prior to implementation and that the wildlife plan not be implemented until all public objections are heard; require nonlethal wildlife management plans to be considered prior to lethal plans; require that only Department of Parks or Fish and Wildlife officials be allowed to carry out lethal wildlife plans; ban the use of lethal traps and dogs.
