AN ACT relating to fireworks.
Amend KRS 227.710 relating to sale or use of fireworks, to specify that only a resident manufacturer or wholesaler may ship fireworks out of state and provide that the manufacturer or wholesaler must directly ship the fireworks out of state; amend KRS 227.715, relating to requirements for the sale of common fireworks, to require wholesalers of fireworks to register with state and to require anyone selling fireworks within the state to have a Kentucky sale tax number and pay a fee of $50 which has been increased from $5; amend KRS 227.750 to conform.
