AN ACT relating to venue.
     Amend KRS 452.450 relating to venue in tort actions against a corporation to specify that the action may be brought in the county where the plaintiff resides as well as in a county where the defendant resides or the tort was committed; amend KRS 452.460 relating to venue in tort actions against a person to specify that the action may be brought in the county in which the plaintiff resides as well as where the defendant resides or the injury was done; amend KRS 452.480 relating to transitory actions, to specify that they may be brought in the county in which the plaintiff resides or in which the injury took place as well as a county in which a defendant resides; amend KRS 452.485 relating to transitory actions against a single defendant to cover situations in which the suit is brought in the county in which the plaintiff resides; amend KRS 452.490 relating to judgments in transitory actions against several defendants to cover situations in which the suit is brought in the county in which the plaintiff resides; amend KRS 452.495 relating to when a defendant in a transitory action is immune from summons to cover a situation when the suit is brought in a county other than a county in which the plaintiff resides.
