AN ACT relating to reorganization.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 148 to create the Appalachian/Kentucky Artisans Gateway Center Authority as an independent, de jure municipal corporation and political subdivision of the Commonwealth that shall be a public body corporate and politic; direct the authority to develop, operate, and manage the Appalachian/Kentucky Artisans Gateway Center; attach the authority to the Tourism Development Cabinet for Administrative purposes; create a 13-member board of directors; define membership, terms, quorum, removal; direct the appointment of an executive director under KRS 12.050; direct that the executive director and staff be employees of the Tourism Development Cabinet; establish powers and duties of the board; establish duties and authorities of the authority; require all revenues and contributions to be used solely for expenses of the center, including payment on debt, the cost of management and operation of its facilities, the creation of an adequate reserve, the procurement of insurance, and promotional activities; confirm Executive Order 99-331.
