AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
Amend KRS 514.040 relating to theft by deception to include obtaining money or other things of value.
SB 260 - AMENDMENTS
SCS/CI - Delete the provision which makes a person guilty of theft by deception when that person obtains "a thing of value" by deception.
HFA (1, C. Geveden) - Retain original provisions, add amendment of KRS 527.070 relating to possession of weapons on school property to prohibit possession of weapons in vehicles by adult students of an elementary or secondary school.
