AN ACT relating to damages arising out of the operation or use of a motor vehicle.
     Amend KRS 304.39-060 to prohibit recovery of noneconomic losses that resulted from a motor vehicle accident if the injured person was in violation of KRS 189A.010, 189A.090, or 189A.105, or was the owner of an uninsured vehicle, or if the injuries were in any way proximately caused by the person's commission of a felony for which he or she was convicted; provide that an insurer shall not be liable to indemnify the person for noneconomic losses under a policy of motor vehicle liability, uninsured motorist, or underinsured motorist insurance; provide that this section shall not be construed to limit the amount of economic losses incurred as a result of a motor vehicle accident that may be recovered for injuries resulting in death or for injuries to person or property; create a new section of Subtitle 20 of KRS Chapter 304 to provide that an insurer shall not be liable to indemnify certain persons for noneconomic losses under a policy of motor vehicle liability, uninsured motorist, or underinsured motorist insurance; amend KRS 304.39-030, 304.30-140, and 304.39-330 to conform.
